It looks like Xiaomi’s launch of its next POCO series smartphone is just around the corner. After announcing the launch a few days back the company has now started teasing us about various things related to it. The first among them is its name, and we came to know about it when the company dropped a teaser video from its official POCO India Twitter account yesterday. Here’s the 18 seconds video, which seems to suggest that the device is likely to be known as POCO X2:
#POCOIsHere and it'll give chills to others. IYKWWM 😉

We’re expecting it to be named POCO X2 because as you can see in another image posted below, the characters X and 2 are highlighted specifically in the this. It’s a tiny detail that is easy to miss, but still, the smart eyes caught it:
#POCOIsHere #POCOX2 #PocoF2
Guys, many of you watched the official video of the second season of #POCO. But, did you pay attention to this easter egg?? 😉POCO X2🤔 That sounds good, like Realme X2, or OPPO Find X2 pic.twitter.com/HpsRNzZX5G

It’s worth keeping in mind, however, that it’s still only a guess that we’re making. The company may very well decide to call it something else because it’s the successor to POCO F1. You should take this possible name with a grain of salt until it’s confirmed by the company itself.
The other recent leaks about this device include an appearance on Geekbench, in which we found that it may come with Android 10 out of the box, 8GB of RAM, and 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon processor. Rumors have also suggested that it may actually be a re-branded version of the Redmi K30 smartphone, which means that it may be powered by Snapdragon 845. Nevertheless, we’ll come to know more about it in the coming days because now Xiaomi has itself started to tease the device. And as we come to know, we’ll continue updating you so keep checking our updates.
