Users of Microsoft Launcher will shortly be unable to access Cortana.
Recently, there were a lot of rumors regarding the Cortona Application. The Windows-maker company reported today that Cortana will be removed from Andriod and IOS devices.
Cortana, Microsoft’s voice assistant, is not as popular among smartphone users as other digital assistants like Google Assistant, Siri, and Bixby, and Microsoft already knows that. The Windows-developer company confirmed today that on January 31, 2020, it will withdraw Cortana’s digital assistant from Android and iOS phones.
We integrate Cortana into your Microsoft 365 productivity apps to make your personal digital assistant as helpful as possible. As part of this evolution, we will end support for the Cortana app on your market on Android and iOS on January 31, 2020. The Cortana material you generated at that point— such as notifications and lists— will no longer work in the Cortana Mobile App or Microsoft Launcher, but can still be viewed on Windows through Cortana. Cortana notes, collections, and activities are also automatically synced to the Microsoft To-Do device, which can be installed free of charge to your phone.
The Cortana mobile app on your phone will no longer be supported after January 31, 2020, and Cortana will remove an updated version of Microsoft Launcher. Says Microsoft
Microsoft states in a help report that the Cortana software for Android and iOS phones will not be available in some areas after January 31, 2020.
Nonetheless, Microsoft has not tested the regions where these improvements are being made. Nevertheless, the support page was listed on the pages of Microsoft Canada, Microsoft UK, and Microsoft Australia. It is not yet known whether or not the Cortana program will be available in the USA.
In the Cortana app in Android and iOS, all the material generated by users in the Cortana app, except notifications and to-do lists, will not be available. Users can, however, access the content of Cortana’s Windows app.
