- Locate your Fallout 4 game documents. Normally, it will be located in: C:Users\YourWindowsName\Documents\My Games\Fallout4
- Here right-click Fallout4Prefs.ini to select and open the file with Notepad.
- Find the following lines in the opened file and modify their values which are mentioned below:
search.bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920
- Finally, Save the file and exit Notepad. Now Launch Fallout 4 and check for the error.
Turn off Vertical Synchronization (V-Sync)
