Restart your Computer

Reset the system

- Restart the computer and check for the error.
Update BIOS
Error 43 can also be encountered due to an outdated BIOS. To fix this error you need to update BIOS if it is outdated. Before the updating process, it is recommended to check your current BIOS version via CMD. If it is outdated then download the BIOS update file and update your BIOS.
How to Fix Error Code 43 in Mac?
MAC OS is the second most widely used operating system after Windows. However, even that is affected by malware and prone to system errors. These errors can be due to improper system maintenance and the presence of irrelevant software. “The operation can’t be completed because one or more files cannot be found”. The following error pops up when you try to move or delete any file.
In MAC the particular error can be caused when there are numerous illegal characters in the file name. %@! Are some characters which would be considered illegal. The error can also occur when the file you are trying to move a file that is partially downloaded, or move a file that is either in use or it is locked. Force Quit Finder
Though it is simple to see the method however, many users reported that they have fixed the error by using this method. To do so follow these steps:
- Open the Apple Menu and select Force Quit Finder.
- From the list of options locate Finder and select the relaunch option.
- Restart your Mac and check for the error.
Resetting PRAM or NVRAM
PRAM stands for Parameter Random Access Memory, and NVRAM stands for Non-volatile Random Access Memory. These are small memories used by MAC OS to save settings so as to access them quickly. Resetting the PRAM and NRAM could be a crucial step to fix the particular error, here are the steps to follow:-
- Shut down your MAC device.
- When it is shutting down, carefully locate the Command, Option(alt), P, and R keys.
- Turn on your device again and press Command+option+P+R keys before the grey screen is displayed.

Disk Utility is a built-in application which deals with all the issues related to drive. Here are steps on how you can keep a track on damaged files:-
- Go to the Apple Menu and click on restart.
- Wait for the device to restart but simultaneously press and hold the Command+R key.
- Wait until the Apple logo is visible on the screen.
- Disk Utility option will be visible, click on Continue.
- Go to the left side panel and select the disk which you want to repair. Press the First Aid button present on the top and keep continuing the Disk Utility Checking Process.
- The Disk Utility will present several reports of the drives, and you can analyze those reports and take action accordingly.
- If the report is negative and your disk is about to fail immediately back up all the data and replace the hard disk.
- If there are no reports means there is no problem and you can exit the tool.
- The report may also show multiple files situated at the same place in your system, and some may be damaged, in such a case you can locate it to damaged files folder or delete it permanently.
