Apple is launching its new service of streaming videos called Apple TV plus today. The service will open with about nine shows for now, and some more will be added later, says the company. You can access Apple TV Plus on an Apple as well a variety device and of course on some selected streaming boxes and Smart TVs. Although the service costs 4.99 dollars for a month, there are a few ways revealed by the company; one can watch everything from it for free for one year.
Apple TV Plus is the third subscription service the company is launching this year after Apple News Plus and Apple Arcade, which charges $9.99 and $4.99 per month, respectively. Some services joined the list like the Apple Music’s premium version which was $9.99 for a month and the iCloud storage with paid plans. The introduction of new services is the company’s business strategy to grow in the market and keeping its customers loyal. Apple has increased up to 36% of its paid subscribers of 450 million in the recent quarter from last year.
Although it is said that it can be watched on some latest Samsung TVs and streaming boxes like Amazon Fire and Roku other than an iPhone, and iPod touch or an iPad, there is no news if it is compatible with an Android device. Apple TV Plus will charge you 4.99 dollars per month after a free trial of seven days. You may later switch to its annual plan worth 49.99 dollars with its accessible subscription management settings.
