Recently, Asus, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has released the Android 10 update for the ZenFone 6ASUS in the first week of Nov 2019. Now, the company is rolling out the Android’s latest version for its flagship-ZenFone 5Z in a phased manner. However, the earlier version of 5Z had a lot of issues, and it seems like the company has addressed the bugs. The update comes with the new October 2019 Android security. Official Asus Zentalk Forum mentions that the update carries a new version number 100.04.44.98 rolling out in a phased manner, which got released on units with model number ZS620KL. Changes in Asus Zenfone 5Z Android 10 Update
The Asus Zenfone 5Z received a new Android 10 based on the phone’s serial number by batches, which includes numerous features. The new update includes upgraded APN settings and supports the Google Play system update. Plus, it removes ZeniMoji, Page Marker, Beauty Live, Selfie Master, Easy Mode, Kids Mode, AI charging, weather animation setting, Go2Pay, WebStorage, Report Location in Safeguard, and much more. Furthermore, it moves the Mobile Manager and Themes to Advanced Settings.
The company has resolved various issues since the last launch, but they should fix other noticeable bugs soon. Apart from that, Android 10 Update for ASUS ZenFone 5Z removes Twin App support for PUBG, Arena of Valor, Injustice 2, as well as Vainglory.
The ASUS ZenFone 5Z Android 10 update also features new navigation gestures and system-wide dark mode. Additionally, the new update also brings features like a special mode for one-handed use, native screen recorder, Asus’ Game Genie, and so much more.
